today is sunny, but I am grey

Sick has been flirting with me all week. Not that sexy glances-exchanged version, but the creepy stalker sore-throat-pops-up-when-you-least-expect-it.

I’ve been trying to restrain it with juice and bedrest, even going so far as to take a sick day, but I’ve also been going out at night to see films. Tuesday was Trouble the Water; Thursday was The Reader.

Have you seen these? Really excellent. Also, really depressing. And today, sore throat has turned into sneezing & sniffles. As a result, while it’s finally warmed up above 30* today, I’m content on the sofa for now.
